This April, I will have the privilege of representing FOCCUS® Marriage Ministries at the Education 2.0 Conference in Las Vegas (April 7–9, 2026) — an international gathering of leaders focused on the future of education, policy, and adult learning.

On April 7, I will participate in a panel discussion titled:

Education Policy in 2026: What’s Working, What’s Broken, What’s Next

This conversation will explore the evolving landscape of adult formation and leadership. I look forward to contributing insights shaped by more than four decades of FOCCUS® experience facilitating meaningful, structured conversations that strengthen marriages and families.

On April 8, I will deliver a keynote address:

From Content to Conversation: Adult Learning That Changes Lives

In this keynote, I will explore how educators and facilitators can move beyond content delivery to create environments where participants feel safe sharing perspectives, engaging thoughtfully, and applying insights to real life. The session highlights practical techniques that:

  • Invite authentic participation
  • Build trust within groups
  • Encourage guided reflection
  • Connect ideas to everyday relationships and work

At FOCCUS®, we have long believed that transformation does not happen through information alone — it happens through intentional, well-guided conversation. This message extends far beyond marriage preparation; it applies to classrooms, leadership teams, parishes, and communities.

Excellence in Education Recognition

On April 8, FOCCUS® Marriage Ministries will also receive the Excellence in Education Award for our Adult Online Facilitator Training Program. FOCCUS® was recognized within the top 10% of award recipients, and the ceremony will be streamed publicly, including recognition displayed in Times Square as part of the event.

This recognition affirms what we have always known: well-formed facilitators change lives — not by lecturing, but by guiding conversation with skill, wisdom, and care.

As FOCCUS® continues expanding nationally and internationally, opportunities like this allow us to share our proven approach to adult learning and relational formation with a broader audience.
