You don’t need to be a polished writer to share your story — we simply want to hear it in your own words. Some couples focus on a single conversation that stood out during their FOCCUS® session, a moment where they finally talked honestly about something they’d been avoiding, like finances, family expectations, or how they each imagined raising children. Others write about the bigger picture: how FOCCUS® shaped the way they communicate years into their marriage, or how REFOCCUS® helped them reconnect after a difficult season.

There’s no wrong way to share your story. You might write a few sentences or a few paragraphs. You might focus on your facilitator and the way they guided your conversation, or on your fiancé or spouse and what you learned about each other. Whatever shape your story takes, what matters most is that it’s honest.
